A Month Over Due
Now Playing: COC - In the Arms Of God
Where do I start... So much has been going on that I haven't had the time to write about it.

Work has been... well, work. We're getting geared up for touron season, and the business has been rapidly increasing. More and more PA, NJ, NY, and VA license plates seem to be arriving daily here on the shore. God help them for they know not that they act stupid while here.

In fun stuff: Had the first cook out of the season on Sunday. Warm weather, lots of beef products on the grille, tons of Miller Lite, a little poker tournament action, and good friends made for a wonderfull hang-over the next day... Plus, new season of Family Guy topped it off nicely.

On the home front: Unexpected expenses has yet again set back a few minor "finishing touches" on the house. Hopefully funding will come through as promised at the end of May. In other home news, my neighbors across the street still suck camel-logs. Had words with one of the 10 that live there at 1:00 am for high beaming my house with their Escalade for 30 Minuit's. They had the inside of my house lit up like the fourth of July. I was blunt and to the point... pussy neighbor couldn't take the verbal beat down and I guess had to wake some roomies. A few came outside and stood on their porch. I simply said, "don't fuck with me, and be more considerate"... walked in the house, and prepared for some foul play from the foul neighbors. Nothing has happened as of yet, but I'm still keeping a close eye on them.

In music, media, and other news: Those of you that know me well, know that I have been listening to the new Corrosion Of Conformity album since I got my hands on it a week earlier than the release date. Greg didn't give it such a hot review over @ PRF, but I've been the slack-ass that hasen't posted my opinion over there yet. Look for it in the near future. I've also been watching for a release from a band called Nightrage. The name is pretty fucking stupid, but if you heard some of the songs on their new album (not released in the US yet), you might forget about the bad name. Plus its the original singer from At The Gates, and the drummer from The Haunted (two bands I love dearly). More to be posted @ PRF.

I've rambled enough for now. I will do my best to try for a weekly update at this point. I admit that a month has been too long... In fact I caught shit from Gary last week. Sorry man, I just don't have the screen time that I used to.

It's About Damn Time
Now Playing: Black Label Society - Mafia
After relentlesly checking and re-checking Shadows Fall's website (it's been down forever)... I noticed it was back up.

Shadows Fall is pretty much my favorite band to date. While the 1st 4 tracks on BLS's "Mafia" has been getting heavy play recently, I still managed to play "War Within" by SF six times straight through to and from my parent's house in B-more this weekend.... I still consider it one of the most powerfull metal albums to bless my collection.

While I look forward to COC's "In The Arms Of God", I'll still play some Shadows Fall over and over.

If you so happen to cross SF's web site... be sure to click on the free beer link, then click on the link for the flash card.... wait through the presentation, then click on the video link... you'll get to see the vid for "The power Of I and I". These guys love beer, music, and Bar-B-Q's.... my kind of people.

Burned Out
Now Playing: Black Label Society - Mafia
Ever went on vacation and just had so much fun that you can't seem to transition back into every day life again?
That would be me this week.

After getting back from Vermont late on Sunday night, my body and mind can't seem to get back into work mode this week. Thank God it's been a fairly slow week @ work.

I had an awesome time boarding in fresh powder for a couple of days, but the only injury I had was non-mountain related.... I was walking to a lower lift and slipped on some ice.... went straight down on the side of my left knee. The poor appendage is all bluish-green, has a slight swollen nature, and hurts like a bastard when I kneel down.... it was worth it though. Hope to post some pics as soon as they're developed.

Even through all the tired-ness this week, I still managed to catch 2 nights of Poker with the bros, and a half-ass St Patty's night out. 3 Beers, a burger, and working on some documents for work.... yeah, great St Patricks day, huh?

Till picture time.... later

Saw
Now Playing: KNAC. COM
Went over to Fat Mike's tonight to watch the movie, "Saw"... Wasn't a bad movie, and wasn't something I'd watch again. I think it had been hyped up so much by friends that it let me down just a bit.

Anyway... had a very productive weekend. Base molding for the living room is done and shopping for Vermont is done. Alls I gotta do tommorrow is wait for Alicyn to get back from her job fair, do some laundry, and bake more cookies for the trip. Dam'n this week is going to drag out till Thursday.

Vermont
Now Playing: Black Lable Society - 1919 Eternal
I've been gearing up this weekend for my "yearly" trip to Vermont. Was such a great time last year... can only hope this one will top it. The snow conditions kinda blew turkey-nuts for boarding last year, but I think VT just got an ass-load of snow. We'll see.

In prep this year... Tim, Witmer, and myself decided to load up on the essentials. We spent way too much money on beer and food last year. This year it will be five 30 packs of beer, tons of lunch meat, and we have last years vouchers for unused lift time.... priceless. Just imagine paying $25.00 for an 18 pack of killer lite in VT.... yeah, you'd bring your own shit too.

Anyway... workin on the "Vermont Soundtrack"... total of about 8 cd's. Mix discs are a must on an 8 hour drive. Once you're in Jersey and Upstate NY.... you need something to keep you goin.

Retro
Now Playing: MC Ren - The Villan In Black
Cleaned some boxes out of my storage shed today....

I came across my old Nintendo NES system. The son of a bitch still works! Had to sit down and play a few games of Mario Bros.

I found a few classics on ebay tonight that I'll probably purchase.... Ghost's n Goblins, Castlevania, Commando, 1942, Gauntlet, and Exitebike.... Most were only a dollar for the asking, but will be welcomed additions to my NES collection.

Also.... made some purchases a few days ago on Amazon... for some reason I felt it was needed to update some of my old gangster rap collection that I currently own on tape. Purchased items were... Scarface- The World Is Yours, 2 Pac - Strictly 4 My NIGGAZ, Ice Cube - Amerikkkas Most Wanted, Casual - Fear Itself, Souls Of Mischief - 93 Till Infinity. Maybe too many late nights of playing GTA San Andreas brought me back to my college days of music.

Filler
Now Playing: Black Lable Society - The Blessed Hellride
Time for a new look and some new commentary on Last Call eh? Shut your faces... I've been busy alright?

Way too much has happened since my last post, so I'll just break it down in small daily doses so maybe my lack of posting will possibly gain reader respect again.

Much of my hiatus has been due to work on the hut and time with my girlfriend. The house is almost due for over-welcomed guests (such as my sister, Gary & Ein, Dad, and one hell of a I'M FUCKIN DONE! party). Those of you that get an invite for the "drink it if I built it party", ..... be prepared to eat mass quatities of pork, beef, chicken, meat by-products, and Miller Lite. All Elephant beverages will be consumed by Mr Perez and myself.

If you're reading this... just maybe you'll get an invite.

For A Good Time.....
Now Playing: KNAC.com
For some reason bathroom humor completely amuses me. I mean, what else are you going to do while standing in front of a urinal in a craptacular dive-bar men's room? Of course you're going to read the writing on the wall.

It seems like bathroom graffiti is always broken down into 5 different groups.

Group 1: Poorly drawn genitalia or vulgar stick figures... this category is always sure to get a good chuckle out of me. Who wouldn't get a good laugh out of a pic of a poorly drawn stick figure with large boobs and a penis on fire?

Group 2: For a good time, call (some random number of a creeps ex-girlfriend).... does anyone ever call these?

Group 3: (insert first and last name here of someone) and add; is gay, or; loves the cock.... always written in different ink than the previous name above it. Classic.

Group 4: The poems....There once was a man named Piss Pot Pete, 90 pounds of swinging meat.... (you get the picture)

Group 5: Illegible tags or band logos. Yes.... we all know Slayer rules. You don't need to carry a red sharpie into the mens room of a hole-in-the-wall bar and draw a pentagram the size of a tractor tire on the wall and inform us that the Slaytanic Wheremacht ate your baby.

I think I might start a book of these findings.

Rock Star
Now Playing: KNAC.com
I've been quite the slacker lately, and living it up like a rock star.

The last couple of weeks since New Years have seemed to be quite a blur. I've been taking some vacation days, going out a lot, and enjoying nice things.

Alicyn and I got treated to a night out this past weekend with a few friends in a limo. They went all out and payed extra to stay out till 4:00 am, dinner, and even a bottle of Dom... Too bad the couple that took us out ended up fighting (verbal) at the end of the night.
(By the way.... my review of Dom: tastes like over priced malt liquor that burns your nose when you take a sip... 12.5% alchohol by volume... way too expensive for cham-pag-na)

Had been living off of Christmas bonus and Chrismas present cash lately. Paid some important bills, bought a flat screen monitor for the puter, wireless mouse and keyboard, and lots of dinners with Alicyn. Most of it has been expended, but I'm ready for snowboard season now that it's cold.

Comming soon: My best albums of 2004 (to be posted on PRF I hope).

Happy New Year
Now Playing: Blade 2 (most kick ass movie in HD ever)
A lot has been going on since I last posted... hence the long lapse in substance.

I've been working on the house very hard lately and it seems that I'm getting very close to the end. Flooring is done in the living room, new widescreen tv is in place, new home theater is rocking the neighbor's window's, and my personal life has been outstanding.

Had a perfect new year's eve with my girlfriend, heard from my good friend Gary (yes I'll send you pics dude), and got to spend some time watching movies with my bud "fat Mike" and his wife to be today.

Remember this day, as I have nothing to bitch about.... all is well with me for now.
